The Morbark 640 Debarker is a multi-purpose debarker suitable for chip plants and sawmills, capable of handling both softwoods and hardwoods. It boasts the speed to debark small logs and the power to handle larger ones. Featuring adjustable front and back yoke assemblies, operators can easily center logs of varying diameters on the cutterhead.
The hydraulic system is designed with proper reliefs to minimize shock loads on the machine's components, reducing downtime and maintenance costs. The infeed and outfeed conveyors are trough-type and adjustable in length, with the infeed conveyor made from sturdy 0.6" (1.6 cm) formed plate steel equipped with Morbark’s durable all-steel welded track-type chain.
